We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher for a secondary school in Loudwater, starting May 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced science department within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Roles and Responsibilities:
-
Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)

Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback

Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department

Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance student outcomes
-
Attend departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and CPD sessions
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

Have a strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
-
Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Be committed to raising standards and inspiring learners
