Chemistry Teacher – May Start | Loudwater | MPS/UPS

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher for a secondary school in Loudwater, starting May 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced science department within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

Role Details:

  • Start Date: May 2025

  • Location: Loudwater, Buckinghamshire

  • Contract Type: Full-time (permanent or long-term)

  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department

  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance student outcomes

  • Attend departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and CPD sessions

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Have a strong subject knowledge in Chemistry

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Be committed to raising standards and inspiring learners
