About the Job

This is a varied and fast-paced role focused on supporting the Sales Ledger and credit control function. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the allocation of payments, chasing overdue balances, and resolving order or invoice queries. You’ll also provide general administrative support across the credit team.

Duties will include:

  • Daily allocation of incoming payments across multiple bank accounts
  • Regular chasing of overdue and aged debt via phone and email
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Sending statements and providing copy invoices to customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring queries are addressed in a timely manner
  • Managing the shared credit control inbox

About the Successful Applicant

You will have at least two years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a confident telephone manner and strong Excel skills. You’ll be self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your time effectively under pressure. Experience with ERP systems and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement are also essential.
