Salary: £33,075 to £50,471
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in High Wycombe this September. The ideal candidate will be passionate about modern languages and committed to delivering engaging and effective lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities:
• Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding
• Use a variety of assessment methods to track and support pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners thrive
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents to support pupil success
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism in French and/or Spanish (dual-language teaching advantageous)
• Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for languages and a commitment to high-quality teaching
• Up-to-date knowledge of the MFL curriculum and exam specifications
