SALARY - 30,000 to 36,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a manufacturing company based in High Wycombe who are looking to hire a Production Engineer to support their growing operations team.
The Production Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in a production engineering environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling design
- Experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively
- Competence in reading technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software (desirable)
- Supporting production processes and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations
- Designing and developing tooling, jigs, and fixtures to aid production
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimise workflow and reduce waste
- Working closely with design, quality, and manufacturing teams
- Troubleshooting production issues and providing technical support
- Maintaining production documentation and ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Assisting with new product introductions and production planning
