JOB - Production Engineer
LOCATION - High Wycombe
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - 30,000 to 36,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a manufacturing company based in High Wycombe who are looking to hire a Production Engineer to support their growing operations team.

The Production Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Proven experience in a production engineering environment

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling design

  • Experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing principles

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively

  • Competence in reading technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software (desirable)

The Production Engineer role will involve:

  • Supporting production processes and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations

  • Designing and developing tooling, jigs, and fixtures to aid production

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimise workflow and reduce waste

  • Working closely with design, quality, and manufacturing teams

  • Troubleshooting production issues and providing technical support

  • Maintaining production documentation and ensuring compliance with quality standards
