In this role, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical works across multiple new build sites, typically valued between £500k-£3m. You'll manage planning, installation, and commissioning, ensuring projects meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Leading subcontractors and internal teams, you'll coordinate site activities, control budgets and procurement, and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants. You'll also be responsible for key project documentation and chairing regular site and technical meetings.

THE ROLE

  • Managing mechanical works on new build projects from start to finish
  • Planning and overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
  • Making sure everything meets safety, quality, and design standards
  • Coordinating subcontractors and internal teams to keep work on track
  • Preparing key documents like safety plans, progress reports, and handover manuals
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

THE PERSON

  • Project Manager (Mechanical/ Plumbing and Heating) or similar
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of Heating, Fire Suppression and Ventilation systems
