A highly regarded and well-established independent preparatory school for girls aged 7-13 in High Wycombe is seeking an outstanding Music Teacher (Pianist and Accompanist) to join their dedicated team from September 2025.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality music teaching across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3

  • Accompany choirs, ensembles, rehearsals, and school events including assemblies and performances

  • Support and prepare pupils for ABRSM and other music exams and competitions

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Music and wider staff team to enhance the school's rich musical life

  • Inspire a love of music and performance in all pupils



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS and has proven experience teaching music to a high standard in a school setting

  • Is a skilled pianist and confident accompanist, with strong sight-reading ability

  • Has a genuine passion for music education and the ability to motivate and engage young learners
