About the Role:
As the company's dedicated Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for delivering an accurate , efficient end to end payroll service for weekly and monthly employees. Working as part of a collaborative environment, you will partner closely with both the HR and finance function to ensure seamless processes, compliance, and continuous improvement.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a sole role capacity, enjoys autonomy and values a supportive culture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full employee payrolls for weekly and monthly staff
- Ensure all payroll data is accurate, up to date and processed within agreed deadlines
- Collaborate closely with HR on new starters, leavers and employee changes
- Working alongside finance to support reconciliations, pension legislation and company policies
- Produce payroll reports, analysis and ad-hoc insights to support decision making
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing payroll workflows
- Manage statutory payments
About You
- Previous experience in end to end payroll
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
- Confident working on payroll software and Excel
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborate with HR and Finance
