About the Role:

As the company's dedicated Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for delivering an accurate , efficient end to end payroll service for weekly and monthly employees. Working as part of a collaborative environment, you will partner closely with both the HR and finance function to ensure seamless processes, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a sole role capacity, enjoys autonomy and values a supportive culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee payrolls for weekly and monthly staff
  • Ensure all payroll data is accurate, up to date and processed within agreed deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with HR on new starters, leavers and employee changes
  • Working alongside finance to support reconciliations, pension legislation and company policies
  • Produce payroll reports, analysis and ad-hoc insights to support decision making
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing payroll workflows
  • Manage statutory payments

About You

  • Previous experience in end to end payroll
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • Confident working on payroll software and Excel
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborate with HR and Finance
