Role Overview: We are seeking a passion and engagement individual for this permanent role. You should have a true passion for sports and want their students to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle though PE!

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons in line with the national curriculum. 
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. 
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment, inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies. 
  • Participate in school activities and events. 
  • Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.  
  • Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’s evenings. 

Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. 
  • Experience in teaching PE at the secondary level. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students. 
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
