Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and engaging individual for this permanent role. The ideal candidate should enjoy teaching biology, chemistry or physics, and sharing their passion for the subject with their students!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective biology, physics or chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment, inside and outside of the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
- Participate in school activities and events.
- Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.
- Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’s evenings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching sciences at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
