The Role - Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager

This is a hands-on, high-impact position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing efficient supply chain strategies and purchasing processes that can scale with the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and refine end-to-end supply chain systems and processes
  • Oversee stock control and inventory management across multiple sites
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with business needs
  • Lead demand forecasting and ensure optimum stock levels
  • Analyse data using advanced Excel to drive smarter purchasing decisions
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support margin improvement initiatives
  • Support the business through its next phase of expansion and infrastructure development
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar supply chain or purchasing management role, ideally within foodservice, retail, or wholesale
  • Exceptional Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, forecasting models etc.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised, process-driven and detail-oriented
  • Confident working at both strategic and operational levels
  • Proactive, adaptable, and ready to roll your sleeves up
  • Experience in high-growth environments is a strong advantage
