We are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller for our client in Highbridge.

Rate of Pay: 12.21 - 15.50 Depending on Experience

Hours 07.30 - 16.30

Permanent Postion

Job Purpose

To ensure all products manufactured in the factory meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations. The QC Inspector monitors production processes, identifies defects, and ensures corrective actions are implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products for quality compliance.
  • Monitor production processes to detect defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Verify product dimensions, tolerances, and assembly against technical drawings or standards.
  • Perform functional tests where applicable (mechanical, electrical, or other relevant testing).
  • Document inspection results and report non-conformities to supervisors.
  • Work closely with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain accurate QC records for traceability and audits.
  • Conduct random sampling inspections to ensure consistent quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all QC activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or quality inspection.
  • Knowledge of standard quality control procedures and tools (inspection gauges, micrometers, checklists).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Basic computer skills for recording QC data.

Working Conditions

  • Factory/production floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and materials.
  • Standing, walking, and manual inspection tasks required.
  • Occasional overtime to meet production deadlines.
