Management Accountant

Salary - £60,000

As Management Accountant, you will be the day-to-day lead on all financials relating to the operation of the Company's costing and operating system (currently Access FM) together with the timely reporting of financial data and KPI's to the Senior Management Team. This would suit a qualified accountant with strong costing experience within a manufacturing environment. The Management Accountant will report directly into the CFO & Managing Director.

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant
- Review, maintenance and improvement of the Company's costing system
- Ensuring that standard cost data is up to date and accurate
- Monitoring of actual versus standard gross margins and investigating any significant variances.
- Review and investigations of overall costs and gross margins by customer and by operational area.
- Recommending changes to the systems and improving data capture and output.
- Management accounts and variance analysis
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI's for the Board in line with the agreed monthly timetable.
- Monthly cost to budget analysis.
- Development of accurate sales and gross margin reports by customer and process.
- Forecasting / Budgeting
- Updating the financial reforecast model each quarter
- Preparing the 13 week cash flow forecast
- Annual Budget
- Project / Ad Hoc Responsibilities
- Continual review of processes and looking to automate any manual processes.

Key Requirements
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Strong IT & ERP Skills
- Experience of Access FM desirable but not essential
