• Battery Test Technician role working at the forefront of electric vehicle battery systems development for the automotive, motorsport, and defence sectors.

Are you an Engineering Technician / Mechanical Technician / Electrical Technician / Automotive Technician wanting to work in the rapidly growing electric vehicle battery test and development sector?

This Battery Test Technician job will suit:

• We are looking for an Electrical Technician / Mechanical Technician / Automotive Technician / Battery Test Technician who would enjoy developing their career within the ever growing electric vehicle battery technology sector.
• You will have previous experience within a technician role carrying out testing of mechanical, electrical or systems, equipment, or components.
• Some prior experience of testing batteries / battery systems would be fantastic, but this is not essential.
• You will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in an engineering or similar technical discipline.
• You must hold a full UK driving licence.

This Battery Test Technician job will involve:

• Working at the cutting edge of electric vehicle development through the testing and development of battery systems.
• Battery system test projects are for a variety of industry leading customers across the automotive, motorsport and defence vehicle industry sectors.
• Set up and perform battery tests (abuse, durability, charge cycles etc…) including setting up data acquisition equipment, instrumentation and high-speed camera systems.
• Collect test data and test results for further analysis by engineering colleagues. 

This Battery Test Technician role is commutable from Nuneaton, Hinckley, Atherstone, Tamworth, Twycross, Lutterworth, Coventry, Leicester, Leicestershire, Warwickshire.
