Electrical CAD Technician

• 3 to 6 month contract position.
• Primary focus is to support with a backlog of engineering drawing and schematics.
• Based in Hinckley, Leicestershire

Electrical CAD opportunity that will see you work on a range of drawings. The company manufacture products that incorporate heating elements, fans etc. so anyone from a white goods, HVAC, Food Process background would have strong crossover, but we are flexible due to the contract nature.

This Electrical CAD Technician job will suit:

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Preferably available at short notice and open to working on a fixed term contract.

The Electrical CAD Technician job will involve:

• Produce and revise electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams using Solidworks 2D CAD software.
• Interpret electrical engineering sketches, specifications, and design requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely and accurate design output.
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation in line with company or client-specific requirements.

This job is commutable from Hinckley, Leicester, Coventry, Nuneaton, Rugby.
