LOGISTICS SALES COORDINATOR 

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8.00AM - 5.00PM

£34,000 - £38,000 PER ANNUM BASIC PLUS BONUS (QUARTERLY)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a LOGISTICS SALES COORDINATOR to join our well-established client based in HINCKLEY on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering an amazing annual salary and room to grow and progress. 

This is a full-time on-site position.

You will be responsible for communication, freight brokerage, customer service, brokerage, and account management tasks.

The role involves managing logistics operations, coordinating shipments, maintaining customer and supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient transportation services.

Day to Day Duties

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, and networking within the logistics and freight industry
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering bespoke logistics solutions across road, air, and sea freight services
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with clients and carriers, ensuring competitive margins while maintaining service quality
  • Coordinate with internal operations and dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments
  • Monitor and track all shipments to provide clients with real-time updates and exceptional service
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and bookings using CRM systems
  • Stay up to date on market trends, carrier capacity, and freight pricing to offer informed and strategic logistics solutions
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company’s overall revenue growth
  • Act as a key liaison between customers and carriers, resolving any service issues with professionalism and urgency
  • Attend industry events and client meetings

Essential Skills

  • Own transport 
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Natural sales ability - outgoing personality
  • Freight Brokerage and Brokerage experience
  • Strong Account Management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in the Transport industry would be desirable
