Warehouse Manager (Construction Materials Manufacturing)Competitive Salary (Can be Disclosed Upon Request) + 10% Bonus + BUPA Healthcare + 7.5 hr Workday + Christmas Shutdown + Career ProgressionBased near Hinckley, Full-time, Office & Warehouse BasedAre you a Warehouse Manager, with a background in Construction Materials, or similar, looking for a stable role with excellent work / life balance, where you can take ownership, lead a team and make an impact within a rapidly growing business?We’re hiring for a Warehouse Manager to join a leading manufacturer and distributor of geosynthetic materials, supplying into civil engineering, construction, and environmental projects across the UK.This is a varied and hands-on role, where you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations - covering everything from inventory control and staff supervision, to order fulfilment and logistics.You’ll be working from brand-new, purpose-built facilities with a supportive team, in a business that truly values its people and offers excellent work/life balance through a 7.5 hour working day and flexi-shift patterns.The Company:We’re working with a well-established SME, currently in an exciting growth phase, supplying advanced materials into high-profile infrastructure and construction projects.They offer a friendly, down-to-earth culture, with long-standing employees, great staff retention, and structured development.The Role:As Warehouse Manager, you will have full oversight of warehouse operations - ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately.You’ll also lead and develop a small warehouse team, driving performance and high standards, while ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatch
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks
  • Manage and develop warehouse staff, including recruitment and training
  • Ensure timely, accurate order fulfilment to meet customer expectations
  • Coordinate transport and logistics with suppliers and carriers
  • Lead on warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and systems
About You:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role
  • Experience within construction materials / manufacturing sectors is a plus
  • Experience with inventory control systems and warehouse management software (WMS)
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety best practices
