Department: Paint Shop
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Hourly Rate: 12.21

The Company

We are a professional and accomplished metal finishing company, known for delivering high-quality painted and coated components to a range of industries.

The Role

The Quality Inspector plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding compliance with company and industry standards. Full training will be provided.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Be reliable and detail-oriented
  • Be able to follow instructions and learn quickly (full training will be provided)
  • Have the ability to conduct visual inspections of painted components
  • Carry out basic adhesion tests (e.g., tape pull test)
  • Perform paint thickness measurements using standard tools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspections of painted parts using the naked eye, ensuring the finish is consistent and free from defects such as runs, sags, dirt, fisheyes, or overspray
  • Conduct paint adhesion tests to ensure proper bonding of the paint
  • Measure paint thickness using appropriate dry film thickness gauges
  • Accurately document inspection results on checklists or digital systems
  • Identify and separate non-conforming parts and report issues to relevant departments
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions when defects are found
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, following all safety and 5S standards
  • Support internal and external audits as required
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
