An exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading, Hinckley based manufacturing company for a Workshop Technician due to ongoing growth in its aerospace, automotive, medical and engineering marketplaces.
THE ROLE
As the WorkshopEngineering Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical build, integration, and test of technical systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with multi-disciplinary skills and a high attention to detail, working in a production and R&D environment. Responsibilities include:
- Mechanical build
- Assembly
- Electrical wiring and assembly
- Repair
- Product development
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of the Workshop Engineering Technician you will need a mechanical skillset with some electrical/wiring appreciation. This role is based in the workshop but would suit and ex service, workshop, maintenance engineer or similar thats is veryhands on. This is a very varied role offering excellent opportunites to develop within a growing business.
