Bennett & Game Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Fuel Driver to join one of our key clients operating nationwide within the infrastructure and surfacing industry based out of a Stevenage depot. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to support multi-drop fuel deliveries to active construction and surfacing sites across the UK.

Class 2 Driver Job Overview
  • Deliver fuel and materials to various job sites in line with daily delivery schedules
  • Load and unload fuel safely to avoid damage or spillage
  • Complete pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
  • Maintain communication with site teams to confirm delivery details
  • Keep accurate records, including delivery notes and discrepancies
  • Monitor and maintain fuel stock levels at the depot
  • Ensure all waste handling complies with duty of care and legal obligations
Class 2 Driver Job Requirements
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Flexibility in working a mixture of days and nights
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • Clean driving record
  • Previous experience in multi-drop fuel delivery or similar logistics environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes effectively
Class 2 Driver Salary & Benefits
  • Daily rate: £160 - £235 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Monday - Friday 10 hours per day consisting of days and nights.
  • Day rate - £161. Night rate - £235
