Day-to-day of the role:

Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for PCBA components and other related materials.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand their material needs and specifications.
Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and products.
Manage supplier relationships, including conducting regular performance reviews and resolving any issues.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of components.
Work as part of a small team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Buyer, specifically in electronics manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and strategic sourcing.
Experience with electronics procurement is essential; experience with plastics injection moulding an added advantage.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
