We’re working with a leading manufacturing company that produces high-quality, technical products used by contractors servicing commercial clients. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Understand customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions
- Prepare accurate sales quotations based on customer requirements, including interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Close sales and support the wider team in achieving monthly targets
- Log and manage all quotations using the CRM system
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Deliver world-class service through prompt, professional responses to all queries and quote requests
- Follow up on all quotes and opportunities to maximise conversion and build rapport
- Proactively contact existing, lapsed, and new customers via phone and online meetings to grow their spend
- Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, aiming for a minimum 20% growth in your sales area
- Proven experience in a Sales Account Manager or similar role
- Experience with technical or electrical products is ideal, but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to quickly learn and understand technical product offerings
- Confident in preparing quotes and interpreting customer specifications
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- CRM experience preferred
- Competitive salary up to £45,000
