Practice Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Closed Sundays
Role Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including one late finish until 7:30 or 8:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break
- Saturdays, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM (alternate Saturdays)
Salary:
- Starting from 12.21 per hour (National Living Wage) Negotiable at interview stage
- Final rate dependent on interview and suitability
About the Role:
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will learn all aspects of dental nursing while working closely with our clinicians. You will develop essential skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clinicians during dental and aesthetics procedures
- Preparing, maintaining, and sterilising instruments and equipment
- Supporting infection control standards throughout the practice
- Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Recording accurate notes and patient information
- Ensuring patients feel safe, comfortable, and well informed
- Providing oral hygiene and post-treatment advice
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following:
- Be enrolled or planning to enrol on the NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, and able to provide proof or an enrolment letter
- Hepatitis B vaccination (or willing to begin the vaccination course before starting)
- Right to work in the UK
- Valid DBS check
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn
- Interest in aesthetics
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care
