Day-to-day of the role:- Work collaboratively with team members and other professionals.
- Promote and teach key life skills and appropriate behaviours
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of residents' progress to support planning and team collaboration.
- Ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Participate in shift work on a 24-hour pattern, covering weekends and bank holidays.
- Engage in regular supervision, team meetings, and required training sessions to continually improve service quality.
- Resilience and motivation with a calm, approachable, and adaptable demeanour.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- IT literacy and ability to follow written instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is desirable, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and adults is preferred, though not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
