A growing and friendly accountancy firm is seeking an ambitious and proactive Audit Manager to join their team. This is a key role focused on developing and managing the audit function, supporting a diverse client base, and helping to build and mentor a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion• Develop audit strategies and schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met• Build and maintain strong client relationships• Identify and contribute to business development opportunities within the audit area• Supervise, support, and mentor junior team members• Stay current with UK GAAP, auditing standards, and relevant tax implications (including PAYE, Corporation Tax, and VAT)

About You:• ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3-5 years of post-qualification audit experience• Commercially aware with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset• Experienced in managing audits and leading teams• Familiar with PCAS Audit Programmes (preferred but not essential)• Professional and personable, with strong communication and relationship-building skills• Highly motivated with a positive, "can-do" attitude• Eager to grow professionally in a supportive and dynamic environment
