We are a global engineering group, specialising in the manufacture & distribution of bespoke and innovative equipment for the construction and engineering sectors. Our company is committed to delivering high-quality products and service excellence to our clients at every interaction. We are now seeking a reliable and committed Van Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent basis.

Location

Our HQ, in Alton, Hampshire

Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 10 hours per day, between the hours of 4am - 7pm, with your normal working hours being 6am - 4pm. Flexibility is essential for this role.

*Overtime, pension, job security and further progression within the group are all available with this role* 

Reports to

The Depot Manager, who reports to the National Hire Stock Manager.

Overview

As an integral part of our organisation, the Van Delivery Driver will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment for our projects while representing our company in all interactions. This role requires a customer-first approach and adherence to all driving compliance standards in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect Conquip products in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Liaise with the Transport Manager to coordinate logistics and maintain a customer-first approach.
  • Communicate with the office and customers to ensure on-time delivery is achieved or exceeded.
  • Adhere to all legislation, including Tacho and DSA driving standards.
  • Promote a positive image of the Conquip brand to customers.
  • Maintain the vehicle to a high standard and ensure compliance requirements are met.
