Laser Operator

Monday to Friday: 05:45am - 14:15pm (weekends off)

Alton, Hampshire

£31,(Apply online only) - £32,(Apply online only)+ (depending on experience)

1. Operate the Amada Laser Cutting Machine.
2. Refer to previous shift handover for instructions and updates.
3. Identify and load schedule/programme, start up and shut down, clear alarms, and troubleshoot any issues.
4. Unload cut parts and measure them for quality inspections.
5. Accurately prepare production records and inspection documentation.
6. Package completed parts according to their destination.
7. Maintain the lasers in good working order.
8. Perform basic repairs under the supervision of a supervisor.
9. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in your immediate working area.
10. Ensure a safe working environment for all staff by being responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the yard.
11. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
12. Operate a forklift truck and overhead crane as required.
