HGV Class 2 Driver

StaffCo Direct are operating as an employment business and actively recruiting for Class 2 Drivers for a company based in Mossend.

We are looking for highly motivated Class 2 Day Drivers with valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.

Remuneration (Umbrella Rates):

Monday to Friday Days - £19.56

Saturday – £20.50

Sunday – £21.51

Responsibilities:

• This will involve driving curtainside vehicles doing local or nationwide multidrop deliveries.
• Some drops may include handball with others being forklift off.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Start times between 03:00 & 07:00

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

• HGV2/ LGV2 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• Experience driving container loaded trailers
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Great communication skills
• Professional attitude
