Jobstore Uk are recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Curtain Side Driver for an immediate start with our busy distribution client based in Holywell.

You will be working for a great, relaxed business who put their customer satisfaction at the forefront of their business. You will be working 40 hours a week over a 4 day rota, so you will be required to work every other weekend. If all shifts are worked, there is an additional £80 per month attendance bonus.

As a 3.5T driver you will be required to deliver stock locally. We are looking for enthusiastic, presentable candidates with good communication skills and a clean licence.

Duties will include

  • Vehicle safety, maintenance and cleanliness
  • Daily route planning and control of delivery documentation
  • Safe loading and unloading of heavy goods to customer properties and to local warehouses
  • Communication with customers, stores and warehouses
  • Plan and drive to predetermined appointments with due care and attention
  • Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times
  • Ensure deliveries are unwrapped and checked for any damage prior to leaving the customer’s properties
  • Maintain vehicle to the legal requirements and as outlined in the Driver’s handbook
  • Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations

This role will involve heavy lifting.
