Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Watford, starting in September. Job Description:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the class, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
  • Differentiate teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages students to engage in learning and develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and discussing strategies to support learning at home.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a strong background in primary education.
  • Be passionate about teaching and committed to providing an inclusive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster positive behaviour.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a clear DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
