Full Time Packing and Production Operative - Honiton Devon
Days of work: Monday to Thursday weekly
Hours: 8am - 5:30pm
Pay Rate: 12.80 per hour
Start Date: 3rd November
Temp on-going work with potential to join the team on a permanent contract after 12 weeks
Acorn by Synergies are working with UK's leading manufacturer in their field and are looking to recruit a packing and production operative on a temporary on-going basis.
Duties of Packing Operative:
- Pack and label products in accordance with packing specifications
- Bag products, using either bagging machinery or manually
- Carry out specific product finishing activities and Quality Inspection
- Prepare customer orders ready for dispatch
- Maintain the Packing area in a clean, tidy and efficient condition at all times
- Separate and record any defective products
- Assist in checking stock as required
After assessment and training Packing Operatives may be required to work in the Cutting & Finishing areas
Skills and Experience:
- Previous packing or production experience
- Machine operation desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Good level of English and understanding to meet H&S requirements and expectations.
- Positive communication and ability to work well within a team
Due to factory location you will require your own transport to get to site - unless you live locally in Honiton
