An exciting opportunity has arisen at our FMCG Client in Honiton. To facilitate and support our production capability we are recruiting a Production Engineer to install, set, maintain, and drive efficiencies with our equipment and processes in our manufacturing areas.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with food manufacturing or FMCG EXPERIENCE, however this is not essential. End of line packing experience would be desirable, Knowledge and application of BRC would be advantageous.
This is a hands-on position
Production Engineer Role & Responsibilities:
Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are met including the review of risk assessments
Monitor and resolve machine related issues
Support operations to maximise machine outputs, work flow and production efficiencies
Lead engineering improvement projects and support new product introduction
Ensuring equipment and processes meet the required technical and quality specifications.
Ensure manufacturing parameters and instructions are documented
Ensure manufacturing processes for released product meet the required technical and quality standards
Maintain critical spares
Manage preventative and predictive maintenance
Design and manage machine build projects and complete the necessary FAT and commissioning
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen application and OEE would be advantageous

Shift will be 38 hrs per week , consisting of 4 days 06:00 to 16:00 with 30 min lunch. (day off mid week)
