Production Engineer – Fast-Growing Manufacturing Business (Honiton)

A rapidly expanding manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to join their high-performing team at their modern facility in Honiton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment and wants to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of a market-leading brand.

The Role:

The Production Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and optimising production equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key duties include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Driving process improvements and engineering projects across production lines.
  • Supporting new product introductions and ensuring technical standards are met.
  • Implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
  • Upholding strict Health & Safety and quality requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds an engineering background (mechanical or electrical bias).
  • Experience in food, pharma, or FMCG manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies would be beneficial.
