This role istoprovideongoing engineering developmentand maintenance of theQMRE Pyrolysis Facility near Hoo, Rochester, carryingout allplanned and reactivemaintenanceworks,ensuringthat the plant ismaintainedandable tooperateatthe highest possible performance.Allworkwill be completed ina timelyandcost-effectivemanner, whilstfollowing all Health & Safety and legislative requirements. This willnecessitatea flexible and adaptive working approachboth to developing solutions to challenges and working patterns, whilst promoting a positive workplace culture.This role willbeparticularly suitable for aself-motivated,multi-skilled maintenanceengineerwithfirsthandexperience of the process industrywho islooking to join a young company and help shapemaintenanceand plant engineering for the future.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:

To take direction from theSite Operations Manageras to the plantmaintenance and inspectionneeds and developpriorities to meettimelinesrequired,

Ensure all data on completed works is captured in theComputerisedMaintenanceManagement System(CMMS) for all planned & unplanned work.

Ensure all activities are carried out in line with all relevant Health & Safetylegislation and good working practices(safe systems of work,completingall necessary safety assessments, audits, inspections, calibrations, etc.)

Be an integral part of the OperationsTeam,by working alongside themto develop a detailedunderstanding of the site operationsandchallenges andworking together to improveplant efficiencies and utilisation.

Assistinidentifyingandmaintainingmaterial stocksrequiredfor maintenance activities(critical spares, other spares, stock, and consignment stock,etc) so that all works are completed in required time scales and plant efficiency and utilisation is notimpacted.

Directparticipation inand input tosafety assessmentsand meetings(e.g.Hazopand risk assessments, development of safe systems of work)relating to plant modifications, additions etc.,seekingexternal,third-partyvalidation orexpertisewhere necessary.

Level 3qualifications inelectrical/mechanical maintenance.

Provenand significantwork experience as amaintenanceengineerin a related field.
