What You'll Do:As a People Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support across various HR functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities, including our exciting New Teacher Day!
  • Conducting compliance checks for staff and volunteers and maintaining the Single Central Register.
  • Keeping our People system and personnel files accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensuring all staff training is completed and properly recorded.
  • Collaborating with the wider People Team to develop and review HR procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Partnering with the Finance Department to ensure a seamless experience for all employees.
  • Staying informed about current regulations regarding compliance and participating in training sessions.

What We're Looking For:To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in HR or education administration is a plus, but not mandatory!
  • A knack for administrative tasks and an understanding of HR functions.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, even under pressure.
  • A meticulous, methodical, and thorough approach to your work.
  • Strong ability to work effectively with data and processes.
