- Design and prototype mechanical components (including medical devices) using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with UK & Asia manufacturing teams to ensure smooth, production-ready designs.
- Support compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 13485).
- Create technical documentation (datasheets, manuals, installation guides).
- Contribute to optimising design processes for quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with Quality, Sales, Operations, and Business Development teams.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
- 1–3 years’ experience in mechanical engineering or product design.
- Confident CAD skills (SolidWorks).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator, proactive and collaborative.
- Eligible to work in the UK (no restrictions).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection moulding, electronics assembly, 3D printing, cleanroom manufacturing).
- Extra training/certification in CAD or Design for Manufacture.
- Salary in line with your experience (£30,000–£40,000).
