Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

• Shift A: Permanent late shift - 1:30pm to 10:00pm

• Shift B: Bi-weekly rotating shift - 5:30am to 2:00pm / 1:30pm to 10:00pm
  Contract: Permanent

• Salary: 37,500

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join DP World Contract Logistics in Stanford-le-Hope. This key role ensures smooth warehouse operations from receipt to delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will lead and motivate a team, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

• Supervise warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely handling, picking, and dispatch of goods.

• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health and safety standards.

• Identify and escalate potential quality issues, including hygiene and damage concerns.

• Lead operational functions, making strong decisions to deliver efficient service.

• Motivate and develop team members through coaching and performance management.

• Monitor and manage KPI targets to ensure cost-effective and service-focused operations.

• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts.

• Familiarity with warehouse systems and ability to quickly learn new tools.

• Knowledge of safe systems of work and health & safety procedures.

• Experience in meeting performance targets independently.

• Conducting disciplinaries and managing absence reporting.

• Background in quality and resource management.

• Strong communication-clear, confident, and tactful at all levels.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Results-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude.

• Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
