Job Scope:

We are looking to recruit an experienced and compassionate Care Manager to lead the successful delivery of a brand-new residential service in Horley. This is an exciting opportunity for a Care Manager who is passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives. The service will support 16 adults across three adjoining buildings, offering a mix of self-contained flats and shared residential spaces. As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 20 staff during the day and ensuring consistent, person-centred care, with a focus on active support and positive risk-taking. The role includes coordinating staff, fostering an empowering environment, attending monthly management meetings, and participating in the on-call rota. Youll work closely with wider management and central teams to uphold the high standards expected across all services. This is an ideal role for a Care Manager who thrives on creating inclusive communities, driving high-quality support, and leading teams with purpose and empathy.

Do you have?

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Leadership or equivalent.
  • Experience managing residential care services within a community setting including a team of staff, for people who have LD/Autism and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships and guide teams in residential care settings.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
