Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a temporary Hygiene Operative for a prestigious Catering client based near Gatwick.

Our client supplies to top Restaurants, Hotels, Bars & Catering Companies with fresh bespoke beverages.

The duties of a Hygiene Operative are:

  • To complete scheduled cleaning requirements in accordance with Health & Safety including COSHH, product safety, legality & quality requirements.
  • Promote clean as you go and work to these standards daily.
  • Cleaning of equipment and production line to meet required standards.
  • To always wear PPE correctly, hairnet, safety shoes, chemical resistant gloves and other PPE required.
  • Have pest awareness and report any activity to the Technical team.
  • You will have a proactive approach towards Hygiene requirements and strive to be multiskilled.
  • Daily Warehouse, communal areas and offices cleaning.
  • Batching Room Cleaning - Barrels, equipment, sieves, hoses
  • Waste management.
  • Maintain the company's highest hygiene and quality standards.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food/drink production would be advantageous but not essential as the right attitude can make up for the lack of experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Ability to complete tasks thoroughly.
  • Be reliable and able to work as part of a team.

You will need to be 18 years old or above to apply as you will be working around the manufacturing of alcohol.

The location is extremely accessible via public transport links.

Shifts are:

  • Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 18:00
