My customer is recruiting for a Pricing Analyst to join their Asset adoption and Operations team.  This is a permanent position and is a newly devised role, working for a successful and expanding Energy, Data and Technology company. 

The role is around electric vehicle charging and networks pricing.  Assessing the cost of assets and offering a price to a customer or repurchasing an asset from a customer. 

You will be experienced around analysing risks and improvement of pricing.  You will possess an analytical and inquisitive mind and enjoy researching market trends using Google.  Provide analytics on utilisation, asset offering and profitability whilst making adept and sensible decisions.

Production of quotes using in house systems and logging information using Excel.  This is a numerical and analytical role where you will work closely with the sales teams to provide specific and bespoke information to commercial customers.

There is plenty of opportunity to progress within this role and department in the future as the team and company are constantly growing. 

There is hybrid working on offer, a minimum of two days in the office and three days working from home per week. 

The hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5 or 8-4.  The office is based at Head office located in Horley, Surrey within a close walk to a train station and there is plenty of local parking available.

Skills/experience/attributes:

  • Minimum of one year experience working in pricing/payments role in a commercial environment
  • Degree educated
  • Confident using Excel – Formulas/data tables
  • Strong presentation skills using Excel and Powerpoint
  • Comfortable and confident presenting and explaining findings to senior members of staff
  • Experience of Word and Outlook
  • Experience of working on an inhouse system or CRM
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Articulate and professional
  • Analytical with a good understanding of pricing and costs
  • Clear and concise written skills
  • Good listener, ability to understand the needs of a customer and communicate well with team members and other internal teams
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to deliver high quality and volumes of work
