Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young students? We're on the lookout for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our amazing educational team in Smallfield, Surrey. This is your chance to be a superhero for students aged 7-11 who need a little extra help with communication and social interaction, often associated with Autism. �?

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils to help them feel safe and enjoy their learning experience.
  • Promote and encourage independence and personal development.
  • Support the Class Teacher in all areas of the day-to-day running of the class.
  • Adapt to the varying and changing needs of the school and undertake any task to ensure smooth operations.
  • Promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being.
  • Engage in physical intervention when necessary, with full training provided.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent is essential.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience working in a special school environment is highly desirable.
  • Team TEACH Training (desirable).
