Our client is seeking a Transport Planner to join their team in Horley.
The role requires experience in planning and optimizing transport routes, with a salary range of £26,000 to £31,000 per annum depending on experience.
This position offers flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime on Saturdays at enhanced rates.
Additional benefits include 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme, and free onsite parking.

Our client is looking for a Transport Planner to join their growing team in Horley. This is an ideal role for someone who is organised, reliable & confident in planning & managing daily transport operations.What’s in it for you?

Monday to Friday with flexible shift times | 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm
£26,000 - £31,000pa DOE
20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, with 3 days allocated for Christmas shutdown
Overtime available every other Saturday, paid at enhanced rates

The Role:This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly & efficiently day-to-day.Key duties include:

Planning daily transport routes efficiently, to ensure the best use of time & resources
Working closely with engineers/drivers & internal teams to make sue schedules run to plan
Ensure compliance with driver hours & PL01 records are updated and filed
Dealing with any issues or delays as they arise & adjusting plans where needed
Building & maintaining good working relationships with both suppliers, customers

The Person:

Experienced in planning & optimising transport routes
Confident communicator who works well with others & can handle a busy environment
Well-organised with a good eye for detail and the ability to juggle tasks
A good understanding of transport rules and regulations
