A growing organisation is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG welder and fabricator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.
Experience in the vehicle body building or related fabrication industry is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
MIG and TIG welding and fabrication
Operating tools such as guillotines, folders, and saws
Basic lathe work and milling
Reading technical drawings and taking accurate measurements
Using hand tools, drills, riveters, and welding equipment
Ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to specification
Preferred Experience:
5+ years in TIG & MIG welding
5+ years in fabrication
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard full-time hours, with overtime opportunities available.
This is a workshop-based position with options for either employed or self-employed arrangements.
Compensation: £20.00–£25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
