Location: Havering | Contract: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: MPS1 - UPS3 + TLR (depending on experience)
A well-regarded and forward-thinking Secondary School in the heart of Havering is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher (Geography & History) to join their thriving department from September 2025. This is a full-time and permanent position, directly employed by the school.
About the Role:
- Teach Geography and History across KS3-KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
- Inspire, challenge, and motivate students of all abilities
- Work as part of a dynamic and growing Humanities team
- Opportunity for TLR (e.g. KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Lead, 2iC, HOD) for experienced teachers
- Bespoke ECT induction programme for Early Career Teachers, including mentoring and structured CPD

Person Specification:
- Hold QTS (or completing teacher training by July 2025)
- Strong academic background (Degree, A-Levels, GCSEs)
- Proven or emerging track record of delivering Good/Outstanding lessons
- Collaborative, reflective, and receptive to feedback
- Eager to contribute to a successful and innovative Humanities team
