Humanities (Geography & History) Teacher - September 2025 Start

Location: Havering | Contract: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: MPS1 - UPS3 + TLR (depending on experience)

A well-regarded and forward-thinking Secondary School in the heart of Havering is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher (Geography & History) to join their thriving department from September 2025. This is a full-time and permanent position, directly employed by the school.

About the Role:

Teach Geography and History across KS3-KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
Inspire, challenge, and motivate students of all abilities
Work as part of a dynamic and growing Humanities team
Opportunity for TLR (e.g. KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Lead, 2iC, HOD) for experienced teachers
Bespoke ECT induction programme for Early Career Teachers, including mentoring and structured CPD

Person Specification:

Hold QTS (or completing teacher training by July 2025)
Strong academic background (Degree, A-Levels, GCSEs)
Proven or emerging track record of delivering Good/Outstanding lessons
Collaborative, reflective, and receptive to feedback
Eager to contribute to a successful and innovative Humanities team
