SEN Teaching Assistant to work with KS2 students in a Hornchurch School. For the role as an SEN Teaching Assistant knowledge and experience working with various SEN; ADHD, Autisim, SEMH and Challenging Behaviour would be an advantage.

SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Working closely with the class teacher to adapt learning for the student.
  • Experience and awareness of supporting students with a wide range of Learning Difficulties.
  • A drive and energy for working with SEN and developing the skills to facilitate this.
  • Be reflective of your own behaviour to ensure teams are strong and working together to meet the needs of all students.
  • A good understanding of professionalism and the ability to recognise the difference between personal and professional boundaries in the classroom.
  • Relevant L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, Care or SEND qualification.
