Complex SEN Specialist Tutor (Havering)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Complex SEN Specialist Tutor to support students in Havering who are unable to attend school. As a 1:1 tutor, you will design and deliver bespoke educational packages tailored to each student's individual needs, aiming to bridge educational gaps and boost engagement. This role offers a flexible, personalised teaching environment outside the traditional classroom setting, making it ideal for experienced educators seeking a more individualised approach.
You will be working with students who have often been out of education for a significant period, leading to low confidence and poor engagement. Your main responsibility will be to re-engage these young learners, restore their confidence, and provide structure to their learning routines. Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor progress and ensure effective educational outcomes.
The role requires working with students with a range of complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH difficulties, and specific learning disabilities.
