TPF Recruitment is proud to be supporting a rapidly growing, equity-backed firm of Chartered Accountants in Horsham, as they look to appoint a forward-thinking Audit Director to join their expanding team.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to step into a leadership role with a clear route to Partnership in the near future. With the firm on an impressive growth trajectory, they need someone commercially astute and technically strong—someone who can lead from the front, win new business, and maintain the highest levels of client service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the audit department, ensuring high-quality delivery across all engagements
  • Oversee a portfolio of audit clients, developing long-term, trusted relationships
  • Drive business development activities to win new clients and grow service offerings
  • Mentor and manage a team of audit professionals, supporting their development and progression
  • Provide strategic insight to the wider leadership team to support the firm's growth objectives
  • Act as a key point of contact for technical audit matters and support the transition of clients through the firm’s expansion
  • Contribute to the firm’s operational and financial planning processes
Requirements

What We're Looking For:

You’ll already be operating at Audit Director or Senior Audit Manager level within a UK-based accountancy practice, with a strong track record in managing audits and building client relationships. You must be ACA or ACCA qualified, and while RI status is desirable, it’s not essential for the right candidate.
