Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour (rising to 12.65 after 12 weeks)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join the Final Assembly team on the PM shift. You'll play an important role in building and testing finished goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires accuracy, teamwork, and a strong commitment to maintaining high quality standards and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and test finished goods according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard build times
Carry out visual inspections to ensure all products meet quality requirements
Operate test equipment and interpret pass/fail criteria
Maintain accurate records and comply with all safety protocols
Participate in daily shift briefings and end-of-shift handovers
Work collaboratively with a team of around 10 colleagues under structured shift management
What We're Looking For
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions in English
Strong communication skills with the ability to retain and apply information
Physically capable of performing tasks involving standing, bending, and light lifting
Comfortable working in both seated and standing positions
Positive team player with a proactive approach to achieving production goals
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Familiarity with Final Assembly Green or similar production departments
Experience using test equipment in a production setting
