Class 2 Driver

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Horsham

Hours: 08:00am to 17:00pm

Salary: 30k to 31k per annum

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client's team in Horsham. As a HGV Class 2 Driver Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a full-time position.

Duties:

- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to transport goods and materials

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with under 6 points on record

- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver

- Commercial driving experience preferred

- CPC & Tacho updated

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries

- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo safely

- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers and team members
