Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently seeking an experienced Van Driver to join a friendly and hardworking team within a local business near Horsham.
This is a varied role combining multi-drop deliveries across the Southeast and South London some general warehouse support duties. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities of the Van Driver:
- Deliver goods to both trade and domestic customers
- Handball products and materials
- Complete scheduled drop-offs across the South-East and South London
- Load and unload the company van each day, ensuring all goods are handled safely
- Assist in the factory when required
- General housekeeping and tidying of the workspace
- Follow delivery schedules and route plans, adapting to any changes during the day
- Provide friendly and professional service to all customers
- Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean and in good condition, reporting any issues promptly
What You'll Need:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Proven van driving experience (ideally in a multi-drop or delivery role)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow route plans or adapt to last-minute changes
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on the road
