Production Operator - Night Shift needed asap!

Location: Horsham
Pay: 15.88 per hour
Shift Pattern: Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-06:00

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our night-shift team. You will be responsible for running boards through placement machines and ovens, as well as testing finished goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and a strong focus on quality.

Training:
An 8-12 week training period is required the AM shift (06:00-13:30)
Training Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate SMT equipment to create PCBs according to SOPs and standard build times
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality
  • Use test equipment and interpret pass/fail results
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow all safety protocols
  • Take part in daily shift briefings and end-of-shift handovers
  • Work collaboratively within a team of approximately 10 colleagues under a structured shift management system

What We're Looking For

  • Machine operation experience (SMT experience is an advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions in English
  • Good communication skills and ability to retain and apply information
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, and performing light lifting
  • Comfortable working in a mixed seated/standing environment
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to shared goals
  • Desirable Experience
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience
  • Knowledge of APC / manual insertion
  • Experience using test equipment in a production environment
  • Background in similar technical or industrial sector

This is a long-term role; we are looking for candidates who can commit beyond short-term or seasonal work
Students seeking temporary summer employment will not be considered
